The website is currently being revised. Join one of the VCF CH community channels and stay up to date!

‘From the hole to the cloud’

Punched cards, magnetised metal rings, plastic discs scanned by lasers – many ingenious technologies were developed, only to become obsolete again just a few years later. Physical storage media have now almost completely disappeared from our everyday lives, and our data is often no longer stored on our own devices, but in data centres scattered around the world.

This time, the exhibition takes a closer look at the different types of data carriers and storage technologies. Of course, you can also look forward to exhibits and lectures covering the entire spectrum of vintage computing.

Register and participate

We are looking for exciting exhibits and creative ideas for the exhibition that bring computer history to life. We are also delighted to share knowledge and insights into vintage computing topics with a wide audience through interesting lectures.

Take this opportunity to present your collection and knowledge to an interested audience.

Submit your registration by Sunday, 12 October, and become part of the programme!
