"The Fair with the Mouse
and other input devices"
Keyboards, mice, joysticks, trackballs, light pens, graphics tablets, touchpads, touchscreens and VR controllers – input devices are the interface between humans and computers. They translate our movements, gestures and commands into digital information and have a decisive influence on how we experience and operate computers.
From long-forgotten experiments to devices that still shape our everyday lives today, the exhibition showcases the astonishing diversity of human–computer interaction. Discover rare exhibits, try out different input devices for yourself and experience just how many different ways there are to operate a computer. As usual, the theme is complemented by numerous other exhibits and talks from the world of vintage computing.
