SGMK is an association dedicated to social exchange and collaborative learning at the intersection of art and technology.
With a DIY culture approach, we develop, for example, self-built sound machines, solar robots, or visual installations.
We serve as a hub for ideas or help with the realization of projects, such as the development of workshops or artistic works.
We maintain numerous national and international contacts with individuals and groups.
Since 2020, we have been operating a hackspace called Bitwäscherei in the Zentralwäscherei Zürich together with other associations.
At our booth, we present various works from our community.
For our projects, we often use obsolete components and reinterpret old electronics in a new context.
