Since 2013, the Vintage Computer Festival Switzerland has been captivating its visitors with fascinating insights into the history of computer technology.

The festival initially started in Winterthur, but for many years it was mainly based in Zurich: from 2016 to 2022, it took place in the Rote Fabrik, before finding a new home at Kraftwerk Selnau in 2023 due to renovations at the former venue. But it doesn’t always have to be Zurich: in 2018, it also took place at the Konzepthalle 6 in Thun (BE), and in 2025 it was held in cooperation with Enter Technikwelt in Derendingen (SO).

Since 2023, the festival has been organised by the dedicated team of the Vintage Computer Club (VCC).

We place particular emphasis on visual design:
Every year, we invite talented Swiss graphic designers and web designers to redesign the festival poster and website.
