RetroGaming

Peter Zumstein

Retrogaming is the term used to describe playing and collecting older computer and video games. In the 1970s until 1983, these were consoles such as those produced by Atari, Magnavox, Coleco or Mattel. When a flood of poorly developed games hit the market from 1980 onwards and the first home computers appeared at the same time, the “video game crash” occurred in 1983, which various manufacturers did not survive.

Exhibits include the C64, SX64, BMC64, Philips Odyssey 2001, Philips Videopac+ G7400, Arcade Machine, Nintendo Wii.
